Persian cat
is "an elder sister" of Exotic cat - both breeds have the
same standard in FIFe, they differ just in lenght and
texture of their coat.
FIFe standard of Persians
Size: to be medium to large.
Head: round and
massive, well balanced, very broad skull, rounded foreheas, full cheeks,
short, broad nose, with a definite stop, but not a snub nose. The nose
bridge and the nose leather must be wide. Nostrils well open, allowing
free and easy passage of air. Stop to be between the eyes, neither above
the upper eyelid nor below the lower eyelid. Chin is strong. jaws broas
and powerful, expression nece open.
Ears: to be small,
round-tipped, well tufted, set very wide apart and rather low on the head.
Eyes: large, round and open, set wide apart. Their colour is
brilliant and expressive, as described in the appropriate colour variety,
but pure in colour.
Neck: is short and strong.
Body:
cobby, low on legs, broad chest; massive shoulders and back, well muscled,
legs short, thick and strong, paws large and round, firm; tufts between
the toes are preferred.
Tail: short and bushy, slightly rounded
tip but in proportion to the length of the body.
Coat:
Structure is long and dense, fine and silky texture (not woolly);
a full frill covers the shoulders and the chest.

This is - so called - standard of
breed. But - in practice - nobody is perfect :-)))
